About Fedora Week of Diversity
Fedora Week of Diversity highlights and celebrates the women/non-binary contributers in open source communities like Fedora and beyond. Fedora Week of Diversity marks the anniversary of the Fedora Women team and is headed by Fedora’s Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Team.
Across September, we encourage more diverse contributors across Fedora to connect and network with one another. Fedora Week of Diversity highlights and celebrates the diverse members of open source communities like Fedora and their contributions to their projects and community. They are also an opportunity for diverse people to learn about free and open source software and jump-start their journey as a user of FOSS and/or become a contributor. They also provide a platform for diverse people to connect, learn, and be inspired by each other in open source communities and beyond.
