Excluded non-FOSS software
Fedora does not include proprietary software and software with usage restrictions. This page documents these tools and suggests alternatives for users.
This page discusses third-party software sources not officially affiliated with or endorsed by the Fedora Project. Use them at your own discretion. Fedora recommends the use of free and open source software and avoidance of software encumbered by patents. |

Triangle |
Johnathan Richard Shewchuk’s Triangle library, a two-dimensional quality mesh generator and Delaunay triangulator. |
The software is non-free because its license contains field-of-use restrictions. In line with the Fedora communities foundations, NeuroFedora does not include any proprietary software. |
The library is source-available, and is free of charge for “private, research, and institutional use”, so some users may be able to compile from source without obtaining a paid license. |
